Sam Cronin
is notorious for their unwavering dedication to live and recorded music. Frequently recommended to artists and bands seeking a fill-in on guitar, bass, keys, and vocals, Cronin thrives on collaboration with other musicians and interactions with other music lovers. Known for their reliability and punctuality, they have become a sought-after collaborator in the indie scene of NYC.
Kickstarting their career in northern Michigan, Sam busked on the streets of their hometown of Traverse City during the summers — inviting tourists and locals to play along or request their favorite songs. Cronin took their music education to the renowned Interlochen Arts Academy to study songwriting, performance, and music production.
Following their graduation from the Academy, Cronin attended New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Upon their arrival in New York City, Sam was quickly recognized as a live and studio instrumentalist by their peers and began playing at least three to four shows a week around the Lower East Side of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Having recently concluded their time at New York University, Cronin resides in Brooklyn as a touring guitarist and bassist for pop and rock artists around the United States and Canada.
